Mobile-mentary @ Super Shorts Film Festival

At the Super Shorts Film Festival I gave a lecture on the subject of mobile phone filmmaking. Next to contextualising mobile phone video footage in the contemporary mediascape through experimental filmmaking in the 1920s I present an overview of the Mobile Film Competition 2006 submissions. Following the lecture a fruitful seminar discussion with the filmmakers and mobile phone users rounded up the event at 01 zero-one in Soho (London, July 2006)
